I have Jupiter on this degree. I feel I have been blessed with an expanded ability to see things under the surface, and I am also fascinated by the subconscious. Often life will show me many different perspectives of an event or person. This symbol represents insight, to me.
It also means that people very quickly spill their guts to me! Sometimes I don't want to hear about their issues! But it also means that I am can't resist being curious and looking or probing further. In the course of this life I have learned to be the boat sitting above the water of emotions - allowing emotions to bring me the richness of experience, without getting sucked into them. When I feel like stable like the shelter of the boat surrounded by water, I feel like the "problems" I encounter in life are easily dealt with, because I don't have my emotions overwhelming me.

As I read your posts and your 'findings' I am realising your chart is distinctly similar to mine.
I use this in the same way as you .
It's definitely about the subconscious and being able to make sense of it.
I realise that I will write a book with this degree, in that I mean it will and is helping me as it's what I'm meant to do.
My south node is in sag 0 degrees.. I'm getting tapped into my spiritual past these days..I'm not getting much done..but am releasing, Scorpio asc..the past..and writing it down.
It's a fascinating journey..

Hi J,
I've been reading all your comments, and I thank you for your insight and thoughtfulness. Yes, writing is such a benefit for release. I was told by a shaman to write a diary of all my thoughts because one day it would help people, and that by writing every day I would eventually see the truths coming together. I know that when I have a really good "brainfart", it gets lost if I don't record it, so it's true that writing can help keep track of learnings and a larger picture will eventually emerge. The story writes itself and the book "gets done without doing".
It takes the steam off our emotions because writing is a slower process to thinking, and we force our thinking into some kind of narrative that has its own rules (logical sentence structure at the very least).
Overall, the degree helps us see our own patterns, though we still have choice about whether we continue them.
