My 2 year old has Vesta on this degree. She and I share a past life where she was indeed a black slave in mid 1800's America. In this life, she brings this gift to make sure that she is treated with respect.
I also know another little girl who has Part of Fortune on this degree. I feel she manifests this symbol by being very disrespectful to her parents and her friends' parents.
Two little girls, two different interpretations! Do I sound biased in favor of my child? Aaaaah, probably!
As an aside, this symbol is often "misread" as Saucily rather than the original handwritten symbol which wrote Sassily. The writer (M.E. Jones) had scribbled a word, then for clarity wrote in a neater print "s a s s i l y" as he thought his scribble was too hard to read. He often did this throughout his noted symbols, and all are available to see in Diana E. Roche's "The Sabian Symbols: A Screen of Prophecy". Roche also writes that Topsy is a fictional character in the novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe. Topsy is a black slave child who provides comic relief in her spontaneous unconscious humor.
Does any part of the symbol resonate with you?
