Gemini 15-16 A Woman Suffragist Orating

My friend Pam has her IC on this symbol, and her story is as follows:

This symbol is my IC - the deepest roots of a person...for me at times not a particular pleasant degree especially when it squares Pluto in virgo 16 degrees (A Volcanic Eruption in the 7th).
This degree really only came to life for me during a very arduous divorce, employment to an abusive and egocentric employer (his sun was 15 Gemini conjunct my IC)...followed by a partnership to a man with unresolved paedophilia in his family.

The connection between these scenarios....the feeling of powerlessness in relationships..involving the deepest parts of security (4th house)..there partnership (7th House) and the rights of a children (mercury in the 5th house..gemini's ruler).

All these issues are very much being raised today with the church, paedophillia and the rights of woman in the workforce.

My maternal family roots are that of coal miners during the periods of much union unrest. My mothers uncles being leaders of the coal mining unions when miners had appalling conditions of work.(very Plutonic - Hades being underground).

This all happened quite suddenly during my Uranian (sudden) opposition at 42 when I filed for divorce (transiting uranus conjunct the ascendent).
I had lived at this point mainly under the realm of my Moon In Aquarius 21...A rug is placed on the floor of a nursery to allow children to play in comfort and warmth)...my childhood being the normal middle class 70's - 80's upbringing. Interestingly, now I have a few rugs in my house!
I am told that when I was a baby my family would say "does this child ever speak"...I am now trying to control my haranguing into a more mature thinker (gemini 17 - The head of a robust youth changes into that of a mature thinker..midpoint of uranus 17 virgo).
